Amen
I've long-since heard that forgoing meat for one year would be more beneficial than not driving for a year...well now the UN chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has gone on record, urging people to cut their meat intake in an effort to reduce global warming. "In terms of immediacy of action and the feasibility of bringing about reductions in a short period of time, it clearly is the most attractive opportunity," he stated. Amen to that--it would probably reduce national health care costs, too.
