UPDATE!
Remember Dede, the Tree Man? Apparently doctors recently shaved off several pounds of his bark. He has regained some movement in his hands and feet, and I couldn't be happier for him. Watch this video to see him after his surgery here:

National Enquirer: 2 for 2?
"Our political reporting has obviously proven to be more detail-oriented than the McCain campaign's vetting process."
A statement from The National Enquirer in response to McCain's threat to sue the tabloid for alleging that Sarah Palin had an affair with her husband's co-worker.

Holy Bajesus
According to Vanity Fair, the ensemble you see worn by Cindy McCain cost $300,000 dollars. Seriously. Srsly. That is roughly 10 times the cost of my student loan debt, which promises to follow me around for the next 15 to 20 years. In. Sane.

Pep In Your Step?
A new study in the September issue of The Journal of Sexual Medicine asserts that trained sexologists (that's really what they're called) can tell a woman's orgasmic ability by the way she walks. More about it here.
And how about this one?

It's none other than Brandon Walsh. Not as shocking as Hobie, but worth posting nonetheless. Nice merkin!
Brace Yourselves

Do you know who this is? Do you recognize this face? This is mothereffing Hobie from Baywatch. Shivers!
Checking the Facts

I'm guessing this isn't the way it's done?
There comes a time when every relationship must take that next step. When that time comes, be sure your significant other knows it.
The question is: Who is the catch?

And a Little Sugar for the Right

Please watch this
Apparently, John McCain canceled a scheduled appearance on CNN's Larry King Live in response to the video clip below. The McCain camp complained that Campbell Brown's questions were "over the line."

It Just Keeps Gettin' Better
Man, oh man...while Sarah Palin was praying with her Pentecostal church for a $30 billion dollar natural gas pipe in Alaska, I was praying for a VP candidate like Sarah Palin to fill the void in my life that Brit Brit left when she went and got her shit together.
Today I learned that Palin
Today I learned that Palin
- was a member of a state party that supports secession (significant because secession would allow Alaska to DRILL DRILL DRILL--and because it's not very patriotic);
- had part ownership of a car wash that she failed to declare on some required gubernatorial forms, and she also had stake in a failed startup named "Rouge Cou" (or literally, "Red Neck" in French);
- appeared on a morning talk show where she laughed as the radio host mocked Palin's political opponent--calling her a "bitch" a "cancer" (a pun bc she was battling cancer--funny!) and making fun of her weight;
- and slashed funding for teen pregnancy programs in Alaska (in spite of the fact that she supports abstinence-only education and opposes all abortions, even in the event of rape or incest).

Taking Notes
It sounds like Sarah Palin might've gotten a hold of Lynne Spear's parenting handbook...
